Did you have problem with translating language files for you or any other language? Whell now, with help from Google and Notepad++ you can do it in lest then 5min.
You will need:
Notepad++, Miscrosoft exel or Google Acount for using Google Docs.

I did, after some time spent in  googling i tryed simplest thing. Since files where in ANSI and I usyally use UTF-8, i tryed to change ANSI in doc type UTF-8 without BOM.
In Notepad++ format/convert to UTF-8 without BOM.

And that was it. Stupid BOM. I just hope that this text is going to find you before you waste time looking for solution.  

Since i am using Joomla CMS as base for websites I create,  over the years i had several problems with security.
I had problems with crackers (not hackers, hackers are cool). Often they remove content and switch with something stupid or write organization whitc cracked site.

I am always mad when that happens, so in other not to be pissed i started thinking what can i do to stop crackers from even trying something at all. 

Joomla is easy to recognise,  and offcourse all joomla's components and modules, after that there is easy way for cracker to find some exploit.
Here is one of websites that crackers use: http://www.milw0rm.com/search.php  it's in 95% Mysql Injection.

In other for cracker not to try anything at all, i would to make Joomla site so he couldnt determine so easy that it's Joomla, and if he does i will try to change joomla's standard things so he couldn't crack it.

 

This is my fourth time that I am installing Ubuntu 8.10. First time was to see is it good. Second, I was trying to make everything work and somewhere on that way I made a mistake and I head to erase it. Third time i was starting installation, and when it was over something was wrong, I restarted PC in hard way (with button) and then Ubuntu didn't work as it should.

Now i am installing it again. And once more I am searching for MP3, codes, Amarok, set NTFS mount, wireless manager, windows fonts ... and all things that i would need to make Ubuntu work as mouch as it is possible like Windows. 

So here it is, a list of things you need to install as soon as you are done with basic instalation for Ubuntu 8.1:

Install Mplayer and Multimedia Codecs (libdvdcss2,w32codecs,w64codecs)Open Terminal (Applications/Accessories) and type:
sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.listFile opens up in text editor. On the bottom, insert next two lines:
deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu intrepid universe multiverse
deb-src http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu intrepid universe multiverse
Go back to terminal and type next lines, one by one:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install mplayer
sudo apt-get install smplayer
sudo apt-get install smplayer-themes

sudo wget http://www.medibuntu.org/sources.list.d/intrepid.list --output-document=/etc/apt/sources.list.d/medibuntu.list
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install medibuntu-keyring
sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install w32codecs libdvdcss2
sudo apt-get install mozilla-mplayer
apt-get install vlc
 

If you have problem with style margin: o auto, witch doesnt work in Internet explorer. Find this code at top of your page and remove it.

If you are running with Joomla, code is placed in line 4 of template, it's xml version and encoding of page.

If this is not solving your problem you should try to:

• remove <!-- comment --> if you have them on the first line.
• Look for BOOM in your file.
• Change document to ANSI
• Set Strict XHTML/1.0

 

Još na početku pravljenja ovog sajta - bloga, razmišljao sam da li bi bilo pametnije pisati na Srpskom ili Engleskom jeziku. Nekako odlučio sam se za Srpski obzirom da nema mnogo tehničkih blogova vezanih za Web koji su na sprskom. Ali sada menjam mišljenje. Obzirom da svakim danom sve dublje ulazim u problematiku web developinga smatram da moje znanje može poslužiti i nekome ko ne razume srpski. Uz to, pisanje engleskog mi je uvek bila mana, mislim da je vreme da to ispravim i zato odlučno prelazim na engleski kako bih bolje savladao pisanje.

 

Oni koji gledaju TV ili prate studentsku politiku mogli su čuti prošlog meseca (decembra-januara 2008-2009) informaciju da je Niški univerzitet 56ti na listi najbolji univerziteta na svetu. Nažalost, ova priča je daleko od realnosti i za one koji žive u ovoj zabludi ovo je tekst koji će vam razjasniti šta se zapravo desilo.

Ovaj sajt sakuplja informacije o svim univerzitetima i fakultetima na svetu i sortira ih po posećenosti. Nikako. Nažalost ifreme je vrlo neukrotiv, postoje neka rešenja ali nijedno nije 100% dobro. Evo šta je na raspolaganju.

Pre svega moramo da razlikujemo dva tipa korišćenja iframe-a.

1. Iframe sa fajlovima na istom domenu
2. Iframe koji koristite da bi prikazali neku stranu koja nije na vašem domenu (cross domain iframe)

Ako koristite iframe da bi prikazali neku stranu u okviru vašeg domena ( tj, ako ne planirate da preko iframe-a učitate http://www.google.com ili neku stranu sa bilokog domena sem vašeg) Vi imate sreće. Evo nekoliko rešenja za automatsko izračunavanje height-a iframe-a.
 

Globalni problemi objašnjeni kroz probleme koji postoje u procesu razmišljanja. Priroda je napravila kompromis kada je ljudski mozak u pitanju i ja sam pokušao da objasnim loš aspekt tog tehnološkog rešenja.

Da bih lakse objasnio svoju tezu sledi primer.

Momak visok 180 i težak 110kg, jasno je da ima problem sa težinom. Na pitanje šta misli o svom telu, odgovara da nije zadovoljan svojim izgledom i snagom. Da li radi ili je radio nešto da to promeni, odgovara da je radio trbušnjake pre par meseci, pio čaj za mršavljenje, probao tablete za mršavljenje pre toga ali mu ništa nije pomoglo.

On daje savet svom prijatelju koji takodje ima problem sa težinom - Ej znaš kako, ja sam probao sve, pio sam sve što reklamiraju na TV-u i ništa mi nije pomoglo, moraš da se baciš na neki sport, samo treniranje pomaže. -

Prijatelj sluša savet i odgovara da je u pravu, i da treba preduzeti nešto. Naravno ništa ne preduzima.
